The ninth annual Read Across America Day, sponsored by the NEA, will be celebrated on March 2, the birthday of Dr. Seuss. This year, the NEA is bringing the gift of reading to children who have been affected by last year’s hurricanes—Katrina, Rita and Wilma. Read Across America
