PRAISE FOR LYON

WytchHaven Events, Salem AK (Weekend #4-Oct 2006, #5-May 2007 and #6-Oct 2007, Weekend #9-May 2009)

Having Lyon as a guest speaker at WytcheHaven was a joy.  She is so approachable and her workshops appeal to all age groups.  Her bright personality and charming demeanor make her a must-have guest speaker for any event. I could go on and on….

Niki De Soto – The I.S.I.S. Foundation

Tucson Area Wiccan Network (TAWN) Fall Fest, Tucson, AZ (Annual Fall Fest-Sept. 2007)

I was happy to welcome Lyon to Tucson for TAWN’s 20th annual Fall Fest in 2007.  She’s a great guest, and an engaging speaker.  No prima donna, she pitched right in and impressed everyone with her cheerfulness and professionalism.  Her books are wonderful, and working with Lyon is like a reunion with a good friend.

Ashleen O’Gaea – author & TAWN Coordinator 2005-2007

Northwest Indiana (NWI) Pagan Pride Day (Sept. 2007)

I asked Lyon to come to our event/Pagan Pride Day in 2007. She was fantastic! Not only did she drive 5 hours to get here, but she arrived to find the worst weather we had in years. Such a fantastic lady for not turning tail and running when she sat in traffic for hours, less then 5 miles from us. She delighted fest goers with her workshop/lecture, and continued to do so at her booth. She is a wealth of information and talent. We enjoyed her company so much we all went for dinner together afterwards. She is a fantastic author, lecturer and new friend.

Nancy Junod – NWIPPD Vendor Coordinator 2007

St. Louis Pagan Community Goddess Weekend (April 2008)

I would highly recommend Lyon Martin as a speaker at any Pagan event!  She’s interesting, informative, and a true delight to work with.

Karen Doerhoff – 2008 Festival Coordinator

St. Louis Pagan Community Goddess Weekend (April 2007)

Lyon was a special guest at a function I organized in 2007.  She brought her own special magic to the event and it was a pleasure working with her!  She is a definite asset to any gathering.”

Willow Moondragon, HPS Dragonstar Circle  – 2007 Festival Coordinator

Gaea Goddess Gathering (Sept. 2006, Sept. 2008)

W. Lyon Martin was the Keynote Speaker at the 10th Annual Gaea Goddess Gathering in 2006. She was a delightful addition to our Women’s Festival. Because Lyon was so well received we have asked her to return again this year as our 2008 Featured Author.”

Elaine Peters – Coordinator – Gaea Goddess Gathering

Beltane at Our Haven Sanctuary (May 2006, May 2008)

Beltane at Our Haven Sanctuary in French Lick was wonderful. There were many people whom helped make it such. One that stuck in my mind was W. Lyon Martin. In her workshops for children and adults, she offered to do casual readings from her books and they were awesome .The children were spellbound and looked forward to each book. To me, Lyon’s books offer a lifestyle of familiar ways to children whom are living in or have just begun similar experience. Her books give children a sense of connection to their world. I would recommend her presentations for your groups, organizations and festivals. She is awesome.

Manelqua – President/Owner – Our Haven Sanctuary

St. Louis 17th Annual Pagan Picnic (June 2009, also appeared 2006-2008)

Lyon was a friendly and popular addition to our “Author’s Row” at the 2009 St. Louis Pagan Picnic.  We hope she’ll be joining us again next year.

Zoanne Leavy – Workshop & Author Coordinator – St. Louis Pagan Picnic
